A couple of years ago I spontaneously attended a lindy hop crash course in Zurich. The positive energy, the big smiles on people’s faces and the happy music gave me so much energy that I kept smiling for the next 5 hours.

Surprized by the positive vibes I got from this evening I lost my heart to Lindy Hop – at least a part of it :). This passion led me to attend international workshops, and festivals, among them Big Bang Swing in Thailand, Herräng Dance Camp in Sweden and IsThereHop? in SwitzerlandAfter a while I also started to pass the Lindy passion to others by teaching classes in Zürich and Gäddede (Sweden).

A while ago, I also started dancing with the show group Hellzapoppin’ Disaster in Zürich. A group that is famous for their authentic Savoy style shows.

I love the atmosphere on social dance floors, where I get to know new people, learn new moves, improve my own dance as well as the communication with other dancers, all inspired and accompanied by this happy music we call Swing. And I love to share this joy and happiness with others.

As a teacher I love to see the enthusiasm and the joy on the faces of students of all levels. Especially when there is this AHA-moment: The very moment when people have been working hard on a move or a technique and all of a sudden it all comes together and magically works out.
